Today is going pretty well. We're learning lots of new stuff. I'm glad it's friday though. I work 9-5 next week too. Tomorrow I have ot go out to leons to sign something to say that i want to get the armoire instead of the 5 drawer dresser. Yesterday I remembered this, because they were going to deliver it yesterday. I'm going to go out on Saturday to sign it, so I'll have the armoire this thursday. I was just at the Giant tiger store. it's pretty nice. They have nice bath towels for 4$ and huge bath towels for $7 something. I think I'll get one some time soon. It's packed in there right now anyway ao I'm not going to get anything today.Next thursday my class will be taking actual calls. There is alot of stuff that you have to know and memorize here. Anway gotta go..my lunch is almost over.(:

Hey!! Today was a nice day. It went really quick cause we learned a lot of new stuff. We had another test today, I didn't remember to study for it, I had read it through quickly because I knew we were having a test Friday. I dtill did pretty good though, 91.28%. We have a really big test tomorrow, it's going to be 104 questions. So I really should study. I completely forgot , so I told Gill we would hang out after work. I'll go study now, so that we can still hang out. oh..Tuesday was alright, we learned some new stuff, and had to get into partners, so this girl and myself got together and she was really annoying. She kept pointing out ANY typing mistakes I made, the second I made them. But on Wednesday I was grouped with these two guys, Bradley leaguer and Justine Bradley. They helped me out a lot. They were very nice and helpful. Today I got paired with Justine again and we worked for about an hour. He's pretty funny. Then the whole class got broken up into 2 groups and did a game where you match the state with the 3 letter code and the car with the appropriate latter. My team won. Then she let us go early. I went to the bargain shop to buy some bore stuff, sue had told me about a sale they ewere having (thanks!). I then ran to the mall to use the ashram before I went to the bus stop. I was running buy Laura Secord and I seen Deanna, and Julia Akerson. Julia works there and Deanna at the wild carrot cafe. I then ran down to the bus stop and waited, yes I said waited. All that running for nothing!!(: Anyway I'm gonna go study, write when I can...(:

I'm at Cendant right now. There are computers that you can use on your breaks. I'm pretty bored, cause right now we're just filling out information about ourselves. I just had lunch with Gill. She's doing her training right now too. We're not in the same class, she's about two weeks of training ahead of me. She'll be working the same shift as me!! I don't like these keyboards, my one at home is alot better, it has a wrist rest and it has alot of features. For some reason they gave us an hour for lunch. I don't know why because it's Victoria day and nothings open. I still have another twenty minutes before we start training again!! Grr.... Anyway I should get off the computer now...not that there is much to do. There is a fitness centre here that is open to use 24/7. So I don't even have to be working to use the computers or fitness centre.

Hellu!! I went to Moncton with Debbie, Melissa and Katie on Friday, we went to Mexicali Rosa's for supper, it was good. Then Melissa and I wen tout with one of her friends that lives up there and one of her friends friends. So we went to a pub and had a drink, wasn't anything happening there, so we went to another pub, we ordered some food, ate, drank and went back to the hotel at about 12am. It was alright, but I'm more of a club person than a pub person. I like to dance. This morning we went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast and then to Champlain mall. The mall was a HUGE disappointment!! All of the stores sold the exaxt same clothes!! It was a this bright, tacky stuff, just different prices at different stores. I saw the same shirt in three different stores!! So, we came home after that. I got home and Mom and Rich have gone down to my grandmothers trailer in the states. I wish they would have told me that they were going so that I could've got them to pick me up some Kaluha. But oh well, hopefully they will go down again and tell me about it. I start work in another day. I start at 9am on Monday. I'm getting pretty excited. Anyway gotta go feed the puppy. Write later........

Today was a great day!! It started off great cause at nine o'clock this morning my new bedroom furniture arrived. I now have a new dresser and mirror, two night tables, a neat headboard that has shelves in it, and I will be getting a dresser that has two drawers and doors that open to shelves (it's not in yet, next Thursday). That made my day nice and then at about 3pm Cendant called and offered me the job I had applied for. Not to bad I only handed one resume out and got that job. The first 2 weeks are 9-5pm, training and the third week will vary according to the need and amount of calls. Then I start my shift from 6:30pm-3am. But they send people home early if it's not busy. I'm not to worried about the hours. Its a good paying job. AND they know that I'll be leaving at the end of August, so it's only temporary. It's all inbound calls for people who want to make hotel/car reservations. I'm glad that I'm not doing outbound, I didn't want to have to call and harass people. It's between 30-40 hours a week. I think that I get two days off a week. I'm very excited! Tomorrow I will be going to Moncton for a Girls night out with my two cousins, my aunt, and maybe my mom (if she's feeling better). I just have to find time to get a void cheque and buy a lock. I had one in high school, but I have no idea where it is now. I even remember the combination!! A year plus later, so I wanted to find it, and it would have been nice not to have to buy a new one. But I'll deal. I got a job!! I was getting so frustrated! The jobs in SJ suck! Especially the student jobs, they pay minimum wage. I'm very happy that Cendant called, I was starting to think that I wouldn't be able to find a job until June/July, which would have been kind of pointless. WOOHOO!!!By the way I was just looking at the comments from yesterday and I would like to send a thanks out to Jackie. I appreciate your encouragement.(:

I went to my information sessin this morning at Cendant(9am). The woman did a power point presentation and then we did a typing test. After that she set up an interview at 11.30am with me. I went to it and I think I did very well. Some of the questions were hard to apply to my job experience, because I lack call centre experience, but I think she was very happy with my answers to the questions about working in a structured environment, like Cendant. She was a very nice person, I hope that I get to work there. The pay is only $8.50, instead of $9 because I'm just summer staff. That's still better money than I'm going to get anywhere else, so I hope I get it. The shift is from 6:30pm- 3am, but then at least I'd be able to sleep in, and not have to cancel any of my appointments. The training is three weeks anyway, I doubt that they train at night. Its 2 week class work and 1 week phone training, and then they let you loose on the phone. This wouldn't be the ideal working hours, but I'm sure I can make the best of it. OH!! AND in between 9:30- 11:30 I went shopping at suzy shier. I got a pair of jeans, 4 tanks, and a belt, and I bought a presatige card. Anyway going to go back down to the mall and grab a coffee....write later......Comment!!!

Hellu!! I just bought a computer desk and a 6 by 9 foot navy blue area carpet for mine and Sam's apartment. I got them both at a good price. The area carpet was only 42$ (taxes included). It's nice, it is stain resistant, and durable. I applied at Cendant on Thursday, They called me on Friday to set up an information session (Monday), where I learn about the section that I would be working in, and then there is a typing test. Mom said that they tell you right after the test if you got the job or not. I hope I do alright. I do check the student job site, but all of the jobs are either in St. Stephen, Coleson Cove, or very low paying. Hopefully I get hired at Cendant. My friends Tasha and Amanda work there and Tasha really likes it. It pays decent so that's an up side to working at a call center. Today has been alright. It's almost supper time, so I'll see what people want for supper. I would almost rather it be a night where we all fend for ourselves and make our own little meals. That would be a lot simpler. Oh, I turned the radio on the other day and the first thing that I heard was that STU will be increasing tuition by 6%, which will raise tuition by another 220$. Like it's not expensive enough. AND the government taxes the hell out of students. They tax us once and then again on the same thing to lower our tuition tax return. AND if Richard wasn't claiming me on his taxes, I wouldn't get anything back!! It's so dumb. The government likes educated people (I'm assuming) but makes it as hard as possible for them to get an education. Anyway enough of my complaining. If you read this blog today...Wish me luck on my interview!

Hello, sorry about the big delay in posts, but I haven't been feeling that great. Not cause of my wisdom teeth, just not feeling great. I am never going to find a job in sj. I'll probably end up working at some minimum wage paying job again. There is nothing available. All the obs for students are in st. Stephen, Coleson Cove, or are minimum wage. Or even worse... They're working at day cares. I'm going to print up a resume and breakdown and bring it into RMH. I know...not going to be a good job, but it pays well and they are always looking for people. I rather work there and get payed moderately well than go somewhere else and work just as hard, but get payed crappy. I think I'll do that tomorrow. It is kinda strange the swelling in my face hasn't gone down to much. Its been a full week since I got them out. Anyway getting hungry...write later..

Hey all!! I got 3 of my widom teeth out Monday. I don't know what I was so worried about, I was put to sleep completely and when I woke up I just had a lot of goss in my mouth and it was a little sore. The Tylenol 3's help alot, I barely notice the pain until they start to wear off. I have to go back and get my mouth checked out in about a week. I didn't even realize until recently that Richards birthday is approaching very quickly, May 7th. Mom and I are probably going to get the car Friday (the 7th) and buy him some fishing stuff that he kinda asked for and pick him up an ice cream cake. Actually he and Sam are out fishing right now. I thought that was very nice of Richard to invite Sam to go fishing. Also he not only invited him but asked one of his friends if he could borrow a pole for Sam to use. I believe they are trying to catch trout. Them on mothers day we are all going down to the chance harbor that Richards family is having. It should be nice. Anyway it's almost 6pm and that means I can take some more Tylenol. Woohoo.....
