We just bought a slipcover for our couch. They were on sale at Zellers. It's a beige cover and then we bought some cute navy blue accent pillows for the corners. I think it looks much better, and it's not permanent, we can always take it off and try new colors. I called mom today to tell her about the sale at Zellers, cause she had wanted a slipcover, she had justfinished putting hers on when I called, she said that she was going to tell me about the sale too. I just sent her a picture of it.I love digital camera's. If you'd like to see, let me know and I'll send it to you. Anyway, schools going well, still liking my subjects. I'm going to go read some Hegel for philosophy and some Kant for my human rights. It's funny how some subject cross like that. I just got done studying Locke in Human rights and then I did him for philosophy too. They all have different views and "proofs" for the existence or non-existence of God and the Soul. Hard to remember who said what. Anyway I gotta go.............write later

I forgot to write yesterday, but on Monday I had wrapped my toe up after putting some polysporon on it. I woke up Tuesday morning and it felt great, back to normal. I guess it must have been just the swelling that made it ache so much. I had looked andcouldn't see any glass, so I just wrapped it up, and it worked!! Woohoo!! It's nice to have my toe feeling good again. I have a human rights test tomorrow, I'm going to do some more studying after supper. I hope it's not outragously difficult, cause some proffs are like that, they mark fairly decent on your essays, but then they give extremely hard exams and midterms. I hope this proff isn't like that. I don't think he will be, he seems pretty laid back, but you never can tell with these guys. Anyway my puppy is doing great, she's such a nice little dog. Mom just called, she got my birthday card today. It arrived late, I had forgotten to send it Friday before work and they don't pick up mail on the weekends, so I had to wait until Monday to send it. I got my research methods interview back, I got a B. I didn't work to hard on it, so that was a decent mark. Anyway I gotta go make something to eat and then committ to some studying. Last night at work I was all ready to start tearing down the buffet at about 7:50, but I still had to wait ten minutes. So at 5 minutes to 8pm a team of hockey player shows up and 4 of them get tthe buffet. Welll we all have been going by a clock that is 4 minutes to slow. When they bought theor buffet it was really 7:59pm. The waitress shouldn't even have sold it to them. I'm going to see about getting that clock fixed. I had to wait until 8:30pm to start packing anything up. We close at 9pm. I wouldn't have gotten done in time, but thankfully a guy at work helped me. AND on top of everything, I have a teeny tiny piece of glass in my toe, I can't see it or get it out, but my toe is swollen. This happened after standing on my feet, which hurt, for 11 1/2 hours. Stupid f*cking people, who think it's a good idea to show up 10 minutes before something is finished. I gave them all looks to kill. I was just thinking to myself the whole time, hurry up and leave. I got my interview back in my Research methods class. I got a B-. It's alright of a mark, but I really never have a great idea what she wants us to do for anything. I have no idea what's coming up next, somehow it's supposed to relate to other stuff in the future, but I don't see the connection. Anyway I'm going to go write something up....

Today I had my Human Rights class. I really enjoy this class. The professor is interesting and the material that we are covering is really interesting. I got an A on my first assignment and I got my second back today, I got an A-. I know that I did everything that he wanted for my assignment that was due today, so hopefully I'll get an A on that too. :) Today was a staff meeting at work. We had to be there for 9am, I had really been looking forward to sleeping in, but the meeting ruined that idea. Anyway there was a .....well... I guess you would call him a motivational speaker...of sorts. He's our new marketing director. He was encouraging us to meet people at the door, smile more often, talk to customers about themselves alittle. He gave numbers and stuff like that. He said that if we sold one more desert for every four people that come in we could aise our average meal profit by a whole dollar more, stuff like that. That only lasted about an hour, so then we came home and had coffee. I have classes from 9am-2:20pm tomorrow, then I work from 5pm-10pm tomorrow night. Then on Saturday I'm going to go to H & R Block and get my taxes done, mom has taken to long, I'll just get them to do it. Sam got his done today. He bought a Nintendo Game Cube and some wrestling game. He also put some money on his cell bill, paid me and still had some left over. I'm really anxious to get mine done now. Anyway I'm going to call mom and see if any of my tax stuff is at her house, if not I'll get it done on Saturday.....write later....

Hey! The puppy came to visti on Saturday. I was very worried about Sunday becauseI was thinking that Sam and I both had to work, like usual, and I didn't want to leave the puppy here all by herself, cause I work from 8:30am-9pm. She would have been all alone. But it turned out that Sam had to work today instead of Sunday, and he works tomorrow. So, it was good for the puppy, but put a damper on our celebration plans. Instead we are going to go and have a nice lunch tomorrow after my class, cause he works at 5pm. That'll still be nice, just belated for both our anniversary and Valentines. Oh well at least I don't have to worry about making reservations for lunch, the day after valentines day. It really worked out for the best, I'm sure of it.....:) I went to the Regent mall with Jackie today to look for new sneakers, cause mine are getting pretty gross looking, but didn't find anything that I liked or fit too well. I did however get the puppy some Beggin strips and some peanut butter (I've been making alot of Peanut butter cookies lately) and some oatmeal, the cinnamon ones are really good. Anyway I've been goofing off far to long...gotta go.......write later...

Hey, Sam and I have our 4th year anniversary on Feb 13th, 2005. We both have to work, so we're just going to celebrate on Valentines day instead. It's better on that day cause it's a Monday and Sam doesn't work, I don't have to work and I only have school until 2:30pm. I'm very excited, we're going to go out to dinner somewhere, we have to make reservations tomorrow, he just wanted to make sure that he had Valentines off before we made reservations. So he's going to ask tonight. School is going well, I really like my human rights course.I got my hair cut tonight. I think it looks pretty nice, I'm happy anyway. The girl listened and actually thinned it out for me. It's stupidly thick and it looks like an afro after I haven't cut in a while. It's gone be low maintenance, just the kinda hair I like!:) Anywhoo I gotta go do some reading. It's snowing out right now. I don't think that I'll go to my 9am class, he'll probably cancel anyway, and I don't think I'll go to my 11:30am class (literature). It's just going to be the last couple of groups acting out their scenes of Much Ado about Nothing. My group was the first one, I think we did really well. I was Leonato in our production of Act4 Scene 1, the wedding scene. We had to act in two different ways and explain how it would change the whole play if these two alternates would have happened. We didn't change the words, just our expressions, body language, tone and stuff like that. It was a complete waste of time, but it'll boost our marks, so I don't care. Anyway I am going to go read some Thomas Hobbes for my philosophy class, cause I am going to that and read some of my research methods stuff. Write Later......:)

I got up this morning and contemplated not going to school, but I missed last Thursday, cause I didn't feel like going, so i got up and went. I'm really glad that I decided to go. My human rights class is interesting and I like my proff. We talked about International law and the development of the UN. It was really interesting. I have to work on a song analysis that we're doing for that class. I picked Lenny Kravitz's song "war". It focuses on racism and I figured that it would be appropriate for this assignment. I have to finish typing up the interview that I gave Sam last night. It's for my reseach methods class. This one assignment is worth 25% of our final grade. Then there is a float 10% that my proff said she would add one of our assignments. I got an A on the first assignment. I sit in the center of the row, second isle back in that class. She always picks me to answer questions or to begin discussions. I'm the first person that she sees, but give me a break. I get called on and volunteered for stuff every single class!! It's ridiculous!! Mom and Rich are supposed to come up to visit me on Saturday, they are going toi deliver the puppy. They were supposed to come up last weekend, but mom and rich were'nt feeling well. I went to the Atlantic Business college yesterday to find out if there are any courses that I can take part time, either this summer or while in school. I got the info, I have to go take a look at it though. Anyway Igotta start typing up that interview, write later...

Hey, sorry for the delay in posts, not that I would know if anyone's reading, comment! Anywhoo, I got my Human rights essay back today, I got an A. I think I did well on the essay that was due today too. :) Saturday Pat stopped over and gave Sam and I some Belgian chocolate covered almonds. (mmm.....almonds..) They were really good. They came in a cute little tin with a puppy onit, so I kept it. I just fibished writing an essay for my Nazi sociology proff. He is the most unclear proff I've ever had. Anyway it's due tomorrrow and I just finished it up, thankfully. It's almost 2 pages longer than the required 5-6, but most proffs don't mind when it's a bit longer. He probably will and will take marks off, grrrr... Anyway enough ranting, felt good but enough of that. I had a philosophy paper due monday, I think that I did well on that, cause this proff tells you what he would like you to do in an essay. Then I've got to interview someone for my research methods class by Feb 11. It's just on internet use, any volunteers? :) Tonight we had a really nice supper. Sam made some battered cheese stuffed mushrooms and chicken balls. I cooked some ribs in our slow cooker, they were pretty good, but needed more honey garlic sauce. I don't have class on Friday, its Chancellors day, whatever that is, but it's a nice break. I think I'll go get my hair cut and styled, one side of it is about 2 inches longer than the other.
