Hello!!!! I got my research methods exam back today, I thought that I probaby didn't do as well as some of the other people in my class because I had handwritten it. Most of the other people in my class I noticed had typed it. I had figured that the proffs would prefer it hand written, so that they would know you didn't just copy and paste answers. Anyway I got it back today and it turns out i was worried for nothing. I got an A-. That exam is worth 30% of our final grade to. I have to work on my hypothesis' and theory a little, but I think it will work out alright. This part is only worth 15% anyway. I am so freaking happy that school is almost over, all I have left to do is 2 more take home exams and one sit down philosophy exam. I don't think that I will do that great on philosophy though, I heard the proff gives insane exams from the people around me. Alot of quotes, and you have to tell him who said it in what book. BLAH. Oh well, one out of five isn't bad. I have to work on my human rights essays now, write later...........

I got to work Sunday and decided that I couldn't quit, it pays my rent in the winter during school. I did however tell my boss that I don't want to be responsable for anything more than Friday night and Sundays, and whenever Cathy decides to go on vacation. I'm just going to look for another part time job. I'm going to apply at Blockbuster, cause they are hiring and it is right next door. I'll also apply at the bentley and shopppers in the Fredericton mall. I got sent home early from work yesterday, at 3pm, so Sam and I decided to have a ham dinner, it was very nice, Sam cooked while I searched for jobs. I can't find my resume anywhere, I've searched all my files on my computer and the disk that it was supposed to be on is not formatted or something.

Hello!! I have made the GREAT decision to quit working at the Hilltop. This decision came as the result of working Good Friday (it was bound to happen anyway though). The people at the restaurant, employees, customers, and most of all wait staff don't realize that I am only one person, and I don't need 3 customers, and 2-3 wait staff to tell me something has run out. I ordered it 10 minutes ago it takes 15. The buffet started at 5pm, about 20 people rushed up and started filling their plates, grrr....., so everything was out in 3 minutes, but it takes 15 to cook, so even though I oredered the stuff right away, I had to listen to person after person tell me " did you know there is no more of this?" YESS......I certainly did, but thank you!!!! So now I am actively looking for a new job, but aI can't find my resume anywhere, not on my computer and the disk that has it says that it isn't formatted or something and won't open. Mom is going to look on her computer to see if she has one. Anyway I'm going to go make a cup of tea and get ready for bed. Hopefully my day will be a little nicer now that I have the knowledge that I am not going to be there much longer. Woohoo!!

Today I handed in my research methods take home exam. I have no idea how well I did on it. The questions were so random, and it took me so long to find the answers to any of the questions. One question told us to read the article by Silverman and give an analysis of it. It was a handout, and didn't have the authors name on it. A couple of people in my class said that they didn't even do it. I wrote her an email to clarify. She better be pretty lenient with the marking, some of the stuff she asked us to do, wasn't possible. Oh well, only 2 classes left. I have her for a class next year, I'm going to see what my final grade is, and possibly change the proff if I can. I got an essay back in human rights the other day. I got an A. I think I'll come out of that class with an A, I don't think I've ever got anything less. He's a good proff, very clear about what he expects. I think I'll see what courses he teaches next year, maybe switch some of my current ones. Although I do have some interesting classes next year. Adult courts, corrections, victimology, soc of the family, criminal law and the Canadian charter. I'm glad that I'm doing a minor in criminology. I found it really interesting last year.

Hey!! This week went by very fast. Jackie and I didn't go out last night, which was just as well, I got alot of work done on my philosophy essay. I think we are going out tonight to celebrate St. Patricks day. I have to call her to make plans. School is almost over. I'll be happy when it's finished, It feels like it was supposed to end after March break. I think I'm going to apply for a job at a kiosk in the mall. The hilltop only gaurantees me Friday night and Sundays, I'll need more than that. He said that I'll be working for 2 weeks straight when Cathy goes on her vacation, the hell I am! If he can only guarantee me twice a week and 2 weeks this summer, screw that. Oh, he said that I might be able to pick up some extra shifts as a dessert girl or hostess, but that's only if they want to give me their shifts. Whatever. I'm only obligated for twice a week. I'll see when the kiosk job is supposed to start. Anyway I'm going to go work on my essay. Write later.....

Hey, today was very good, it went by fast. I set my alarm for pm instead of am, so I didn't wake up until 8:30am, when I'm supposed to start work, and fan there. I got there about 15min late. I still got everything done though, and I had alot to do. Cathy didn't have much done for me today. Nothing was filled and the lettuce wasn't cut up, she is such a hypocrite. My boss told me that I have to work on my spped, b/c of last week, I told him about the stupid people showing up 5 minutes before the buffet closes, and then the waitress letting them get the buffet......grr.....and he seemed to understand why it took me longer. So, tonight it was slow and he told me to start tearing it down 15 minutes before it was supposed to end. Woohoo for avoiding the stupid people!!:) I did it all in an hour, the time he expects, so I was home by 9pm. It was very nice. We have Wednesday off, so Jackie and I have decided to go out somewhere on Tuesday. It should be fun. Anyway I'm gonna get to bed......

Today was such a long day. The morning always goes by fast, just cause I'm so busy, and was even busier this morning. Cathy wanted Saturday off, so she got one of the cooks to cover the buffet for her. She obviously didn't explain anything to Patrice, because nothing was done when I got there, not restocked, vege's weren't prepared, nothing. So I did it all this morning, but I still got done a little early. I'm going to Saint John tomorrow with the puppy. We'll have to make sure we take her for a really long walk before we go in the car. I called mom to ask her where the ferry was and it's apparently not that far from the house. Jackie is going home on Thursday also, and instead of her hanging out at the ferry, she can just come back to the house and wait until we catch the bus or somene drives us up. I'll call her tomorrow to ask about the times that the ferry gets in. My eye appointment is for 8am, so I don't think that will matter, I doubt the ferry gets in super early. Anyway I'm going to get some warm milk and go to bed, I'm beat.

Today I got up and it was super snowy out, so I called the cancelation line and listened to 9-10 cancalled classes and then I heard that mine was also cancelled. Woohoo!! The electrician is going to come some time this afternoon too. Our fuses have been blowing left and right. Yesterday the same fuse blew twice. I think it's a problem with the main electric line that goes through here. So finally after the repair guy that fixes stuff at all the apartments had come 3-4 times , Pat decided that it was a job for a real electrician. The same thing happpened with our toillet. The apartment guy came 3 times and finally the plumber came. I hope that it doesn't take to long. I was just looking at the weather network.com and it's supposed to snow for the next couple of days. Maybe I won't have class tomorrow either. (wishful thinking). Anyway I'm going to go bake some cookies....write later :)
