What a bullshit class I just had. It was my stupid sociology of communications class. We have to do an research essay or presetnation 10-15 pages long. These two girls, yeah two of them, got together and did a presentation that would have been a 2 page essay, if that. They had some pictures, but nothing fantastic. Two of them will get credit for it too. He'll probablygive them an A just because they did a presentation. It's supposed to be 10 pages at least!! I worked on my correcions essay all weekend! It is going to be awesome!! It is definately going to be longer than 5-7 pages, but there is a ton of information. I just have to finish that and another research paper for Friday and write the paper for my soc of communications class, and a book review and then I'm done!! I'm done on April 5th and I want to go to SJ to see my sister in her play on Friday (I just seen an ad for it in the "here" paper), then on the 12th I have two exams, on the18th I have one, and I'll be done until May 1st. Jody still hasn't called me, I called him a week ago and he said he was just waiting for the gift certificates to come in. I hope they're in this week!! I have one more class and then I go hom eand work on all of this stuff. Godd thing Sam works all day, no distractions! (well exccept for Gizmo, but she is pretty content just sitting by me while I work). Thanks for all the comments!! Are there enough periods in this post for you Lisa? ;) Write lateer......:)

I jus finished my corrections midterm and I think I did really well. I didn't do as well as I had hoped on the last one, so I studied my ass off for this one. I studied all the right suff, well I studies dates cause I thought she would have something in there about when probation was brought into Canada(1889-young offenders, 1921-federal law, and 1927-into the criminal code of Canada). I figured I'd just share since I studied it. There were some other dates too, but the only thing I wasn't really expecting was the questions taht involved percentages of offender reicidivism. I wasn't expecting that, I had glanced at the hand out, so I think I got a few right. I did awesome on the short answer questions though, so I know right there I've got 20/50 marks, the rest were the multiple choice. I figure if I get 20/29 multiple choice right and 20/21 for the short answer, I'll come out with an 80%. I'm happy with that. This professor doesn't get the point of a bonus question though, as an extra point. She includes it in her calculation like any other question, really it is a regular question, labelled as a bonus. I have to finish my sociolgy of communications essay this weekend, I'd also like to finish my mod soc theory research assignment, just to have it done. Then I've got to read this stupid, mind numbing book to read and write a book review. But that is due in 1 1/2 weeks, so I've got alittle bit of slacking room. I go to get my couch and chair today!! I'm so excited, I just got an email from the girl saying that her boyfriend would be the only one coming, she has to work, but he'll be coming at 6:30pm. Woohoo!! I love new furniture! Mom also offfered to help me pay for a coffee and end table set when I was talking to her last night. *Thanks mom!!* Which is really weird, because Sam and I had just been looking at a nice set the day before when we went to get groceries. oh yeah *note to self-pay the phone bill* That's due today to. I really need to get back to work, on top of my bills every month, I'm taking a course this summer, and I have to come up with $490 to pay for it, and I talked to the proff this morning, there are 2 text books that I need to buy. Oh...I was talking to my professor, who I'm taking my senior sociology seminar with next year ( I have her for 2 classes this semester) and I asked her about what would be covered in the seminar. I guess it is a seminar on the sociology of Food!! yeah! on Food!! I mean, really these people can just pull topics out of their asses and call it a subject just because they have their PhD's!! Ridiculous!! Oh, well...she is a good proff, and I rather learn something about food, than learn nothing about another topic with another proff. My communications professor is a weird marker. He gave me an A- on an essay I barely worked on and a C+ on a midterm that I really studied for, and I have no idea what I did wrong. My friend Melissa told him that she is really busy right now and worried about the final exam, so he said O'k just make the paper, due this Monday, alittle longer and you don't have to write a final exam!! I don't see how making an essay longer is going to cause her any less stress, but no exam!! He is nuts!! That's not fair to the rest of the class either, we don't have the option of writing a longer essay, which he marks easier, than writing an exam!! I have so much information on my topic, I could totally make it longer than it has to be. That is the class I have next, maybe he'll offer that option to us. I still haven't won anything on roll up the rim!! Nothing!! I'm off to class....comment!! :)

Sue just reminded me in an email that I hadn't posted in awhile. I really could have just posted my email to her as a new post, but oh well. We're buying a couch set. It's a nice navy blue micro fibre one. I offered the girl 125$, she took my offer and then I had to figure out how to get it up Regent street. I thought ath I was screwed!! I posted on the ads forum that I needed a truck. The same night a person answered my post. She said that she knew how hard it was to move stuff and that her boyfriend had just bought a truck. I'm going to offer them 20$. Ithink that's pretty good, I only need the truck for 15-20minutes. So, Sam and I are just going to sell the pull out coucht that we have. I think Jackie is interested, but if not I can post that on the ads forum. My professor extended some due dates to my relief the other day. I have her for two classes. Oh!! I got my second midterm back for my modern sociological theory class ( with this professor) and I got an A-!! Woohoo!! I was excited, as you may know from a past post, to get a B+ in her class. I'm going to take her for my senior seminar next year. I like her. I was talking to Karen the other day about my classes next year, and lucky that I did. I was going to take two classes with this horrible professor. Karen said that when this Gayle MacDonald took over for another professor in a class she was taking, her mark went form an A to a C+. I don't want a proff like that. She compared her to Karla O'Regan, whom I really didn't like having. So I am now taking two classes, that I'm not to interested in (not that I was interested in the ones with MacDonald to much) at all, but have a GPA booster kinda proff. She's alittle scatter brained I've heard but easy enough. I'm taking sociology of women and law first semester with a different proff, then I'm taking sociology of women and education with GPA booster Proff as well as, a course I 'm really not to interested in, sociology of Chinese women! Whatever that is! Oh well only one year left. Oh!! And you know who hasn't called me?! Jody, he told me I would be back to work at the end of February!! Why would you tell someone that!! Oh well, I have alot of school work to get done anyway. I called him yesterday and he said that he was just waiting for the gift certificates to come in(people who subscribe with me get a gift certificate). I only have 2 weeks left of school, I really have to get working on my corrections presentation. Ah...procrastination......Gizmo is up and being a very well behaved dog! She hasn't made any messes in the apartment, just on the newspaper.(which is good) I think I'll finish my research assignment tonight and study for my corrections midterm on Friday. Write later....:)

I was just looking at my tentative schedule for next year, looking at the alternatives to Sociology of religion. I noticed that I was going to take a course second semester that was a full year course, so I had 2 spots to fill. I am now taking social control and social justice and sociology of law 2nd semester, which works out well b/c I am taking sociology of women and law first semester. I also went to ratemyprofessors.com and looked at the professors taht I haven't had, they all got really good ratings. My first semester schedule is much better than first in terms of time. My first semester classes are all in a row, but second semester I have alot of time in between my classes. Also my first semester classes only run until 2:20pm, my second semester classes run until 4:50pm Monday and Wensday. Oh well, after that I will be done!! Woohoo! Tonight Sam and I are going to go out for dinner, which is very nice, I was thinking of making a boiled ham dinner, but we only have the ham and potatoes, no other veges. I ate all the baby carrots, I love those little dippable things!! :) Anyway I'm getting hungry, write later, :)

WOOHOO!! Jody called me this morning and told me that he had taken my suggestion, checked out Zellers and that I should be back to work by Saturday...or Monday at the latest!! It made my whole day brighter. AND I got my Sociology and eclogy midterm back, I got a B+, ehich is really good in her class, cause she marks in increments of 5 (95-100, 90-94...etc) Not all of my sociology proffs mark like that though, I got an 80% in my soc of communications class, and that proff considers it an A-. Weird. Oh well. She didn't have our pamphlets marked, but made a copy of everyones pamplet for the whole class. I was looking at them and mine is really well done compared to some. Some people just taped stuff to a piece of paper and got it photocopied, it looked really bad, other people only had information on one side of the pamphlet. She also extended our due date for a book review for 3 weeks. Now it's not due until the last day of class. Which is really good for me b/c I had 4 different assignments due on the same day, now it's only 3. I also have tomorrow off from school, so I'm thinking of inviting Jackie to go out for the evening. It's raining....so that could turn into drinking and playing wheel of fortune online, hehe, we used to do that all the time in first year.My day had been just great, Sam brought me home a coffee, which was great, and now I have all this time to do whatever I want....which probably will result in watching T.V. Oh well. My young offenders professor is so random. WE have all of our assignments online, which can be good, I'm not to partial to it, but she teaches the most random things in class, doesn't tell us how it relates to/if it does our assignments. It's frustrating. At least there are only 3 1/2 more weeks of school, then exams. Then I have to take intersession, but I like the proff, I'll just have to work on my webpage more. This post is quite rambly...oh well...today has been a good day for me and hope that it has been a good day for my readers...:)

I was so unbelievably unproductive over the march break!! I sat around and thought about doing some work, but the old procrastination kicked in and I found myself thinking, "really, ...I've got all day tomorrow to work", but when tomorrow came I repeated the same thing. I did however work a lot on a research project yesterday. The dates aren't making sense though. I'm doing it on a theorist who apparently influenced the second wave of feminism, but she wrote the majority of her stuff after the wave came about. I'm going to ask my proff about it today, b/c she was the one who suggested doing this particular theorist, and I've already done all of the research that I need. We need to use 8 different references for this assignment. Which is stupid because they all say the same thing in different ways and it makes it hard to use them all when writing. I'll make due though. I wrote a lot yesterday. Mom, Susan and Cole came up on Saturday to drop Gizmo off. It was a nice little visit. They didn't stay to long, but that worked out for the best anyway, I got a lot done. Gizmo was moping a bit, but I think she is alright today. I took her for a quick walk to Tims and back this morning. , she had fun. I hope my modern theory professor gives us back our midterms today, I think I did pretty well. The course offerings for next year were posted recently, I'm going to have a class from 7-9:50pm on Mondays. I had to do that one to get the professor I wanted. She is teaching later in the day next year. But I was talking to Jackie and she also has a class at the same time, so we will have someone to walk to and from school with. That won't be so bad, I just didn't want to be walking by myself at night. My schedule seems pretty good though, I'll only have one class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (other than the 7-9:50pm one once a week) and three on Tuesday and Thursday. I only "need" 5 more classes to get my majors, but I have to take 5 more to get the credits (you need 120 credits to graduate) So for my second semester schedule to work out as nicely as the first, I'm thinking about taking sociology of religion. I really don't want to , but I don't know what else I could take that would work out as nicely. At least it is second semester, so I can keep checking for changes in the course offerings. Oh, by the way, as you all know...I drink a ridiculous amount of coffee...Do you think I've won a damn thing off of rollup the rim?...Nope!! Not a thing!! Have any of you won? Anyway I should probably get to class soon....write later

We decided to go 50/50 on the dinner and Sam paid to rent the movie. We rented "walk the line", we both really enojoyed it. I tried to study for my midterm yesterday, but it is tons of information to remember. She gave us the questions that she will choose from, but all of the questions are really long and include lots. I'm going to cram for 45-50mins after my soc of communications class before the class. Maybe she'llpostpone it until after the break.....wishful thinking...She's letting Karen write it after the break because her daughter has been sick and she is going to England today. Which is really nice of her. She is a pretty understanding proff, she gave me an extension on a paper after I told her I was attending my grandfathers funeral. She just offered it tome, I didn't even ask. I hope I do alright, I answered all of the questions, I just concentrate on the bigger, more important ones, she'llgive us a choice either this one or that one in section 1, and the samefor the others. The class took a fit about fill in the blank questions after our first midterm, which weren't really that hard, but lots of people didn't do well, so now it is just based on essay questions. I made 16/20 on the fill in the blanks, which brought up my mark on the essay questions. Anyway wish me luck!! Have a great day!!:)

Well, Monday came and went, as did Tuesday and no call from Jody, he is so slack!! I mean I would like to have my job back and why tell me that he would get back to me if he really wasn't going to? Because he sucks, I'm going to call him today after school and just ask him if I can go talk to Zellers or Sobeys about setting a kiosk up. If it isn't a big deal I'll do it myself!! :) Last night Sam and I went out to the Hilltop and drank a few drinks and danced, we had a nice evening . I have discovered that I enjoy coffee liquer and milk, kind of tastes like a sweet white russian. I wonder how much it costs, I think I would enjoy a bottle. I'm going to call Jody, then Sam and I are going to go get some groceries, and then its going to be dinner and a movie. I think we're going to go see Freedomland. Our date night didn't happen last week, so he's paying for dinner and I'm paying for the movie....ah...gift certificates...so handy when I'm broke...stupid jody...grr...I think tonight will be another enjoyable evening. Thursday my young offenders proff cancelled class and is just giving us an online assignment, so I only have one class that day, I'll have lots of time to study for my modern sociological theory midterm. That works out nicely. I have been procrastinating so bad lately. The weekend is the worst, I always have the intention to start working on stuff by 2pm, all the time this happens. Then it turns into after supper.....then after some T.V show...then it turns into "well I have all day tomorrow". It's totally my own fault, but it's a vicious cycle, I'm stuck!!! I don't know how to get out of this lazy rutt. I feel so tired all the time. I'm glad march breeak begins Friday, but being so lazy has left me with tons of stuff to do over the break. I have so much stuff due on the 24th of March. I have started bringing my own tea to school and cup of soups for lunch and I'm saving alot of $$. I never realized how much money I was spening on coffee, but Melissa laughed at me the other day when I bought a coffee, and asked me how much I spent on coffee a day.I tallied it up and it worked out to be 3$-$5 a day. So I've changed my ways, brought my own cup of coffee this morning in a thermous and have my owm tea bags too. I have my communications class next, I got my midterm back, and didn't do as well as I thought I would have, no body in the class made over a 75%. He said I can write it over after march break, but I don't know what I didn wrong, he just put red checkmarks through out the test, no comments or anything. I have no idea how he came up with the grades. I went and worked out yesterday, discovered my student id was missing, but the guy said it was ok, and highlighted my name in some book. I got an email that siad I had forgotten it at the library. So I went to the gym today and told the girl there that my id was at the library, I didn't have time to go get it before coming, she wouldn't let me in. I guess u can only forget your id once. boo!! Lousy gym. Anyway I' going to check my email and get ready for class, anyone have anything exciting planned for March break?

Today has been a wonderful day! I woke up feeling confident about ny upcoming misterm later that day, then while I was getting ready to go Jody called me. Apologized for taking so long to get back to me, asked me if I knew were the kiok was, "sure, it's here with me". He then asked me if I wanted to do the kisok again. I said sure, told him to check out Zellers at the Fredericton mall (cause it would be super convenient for me) and he said he would get back to me by this Monday. Woohoo!! Ah money...how wonderful it will be to have you again........Then I went to school, got my coffee at Tim Hortons, which was exceptionally great, went to my society and ecology midterm, and I think I did very well. I was very well prepared, there was one chart that I was not expecially confident with, but I think I winged it well enough. Tonight, Sam and I were going to go to a movie after he got off work at 9pm, we postponed date night so I could study, but when I got home I seen on the marker board a note saying he would be working until 10pm, so the movie is a bust, maybe we'll rent one. I also got my book from the library on kingston penitentiary, it came in early. I really like my professor for corrections. Some people say that she is hard to get along with, but she has been very helpful to me. I spent three hours on the library website searching for stuff that would help me, got frustrated and wrote her an email asking her if she had any suggestions about how to search better, maybe different keywords to search. She wrote me back the next day, and gave me some article names (I still had to go get them myself, but still) , she even offered to bring me some stuff that would help. That's the one that I had the meeting with after I didn't do as well as I had hoped on my midterm. I don't have anything to do tonight, I'm taking alittle break. I've been studying, and writing papers so much lately, I'm just going to do nothing tonight. My modern theory professor is giving us our review for the 2nd midterm tomorrow, so I'll have enought to do tomorrow and over the weekend. I think we will rent a movie tonight, we haven't rented one since Monday, and the new ones come out on Tuesday. I hope all of my readers (the loyal and beautiful people that you are) also had a wonderful day. :)

Ah the elbow incident!! Now that there is an expressed interest in hearing about this, I shall tell you all about the crazy driver and our fall. It was just after dark, when Jackie and I were crossing the street on our way home from Zellers. Then out of NO where!! A crazy SUV of sorts came speeding around the corner, we had just barely made it to the other side of the street when this happened, we were shocked, slipped on the ice (it had gotten quite cold) and fell on our asses, both of us banging our elbows quite severely. It's a day I'll never forget, we came so close to just being hit by this maniac of a driver!! (all of the events just listed, may or may not have happened quite in the manner described, :)
Later after Sam got home we went down to Gill's house to a costume partu that she had invited us to. We had forgotten to wear costumes, but there were some interesting ones, batman, spiderman, the jolly green giant, "the pessimist" and her rival "the optimist" among others, including a couple with a very interesting costumes. I forget what Gill was, not really a costume, but a title of sorts, I called myself the beer drinking hypocrite "costumes suck!". We had alot of fun. It was a packed party, there must have been 50+ people, and their living room and kitchen area aren't much bigger than mine. It's always good to see Gill, she's graduating this year.
I got my Modern sociological theory midterm back, I was very worried, I really didn't know what to expect. I was hoping to pull through with a C+. I was afraid to llook at the test when she handed it to me......and it was a B+!! Woohoo!! I was terribly worried. I also had my communications midterm, which I had been worried about also, it wasn't difficult at all!! He had given us a review sheet and the questions on the midterm were easier than the review sheet. Sam and I went to the regent mall after school to get my ink refilled, turns out it's not completely empty (it says that it is completelyt full, but doesn't print clearly.) I bought another one anyway. It only came to 23$ taxes included. It costs 28.99$ at Staples before tax. This day went very quickly. It's almost supper time. I forgot to pack anything for lunch today, so I had a cookie and a coffee, (I also didn't have any $) Anyway I'm going to go defrost something for supper, Sam is going to make a stir fry, he also made some rasberry puff pastries while I was at school...mmmm......puff pastry......

I got my corrections midterm back the other day. I completely bombed it!! I really just didn't study the right stuff, I went up and talked to the proff afterwards for some suggestions on how to do better on the next one. She was very reassuring...she said she knew that I was a good studentm, who does their reading and comes to class...she said people usually do better on the poster and presentations. I felt better after looking at the class marks, 9 people did worse than me, so at least I wasn't the worst. I should have brought my gym clothes today, I have all this time in between this class and my next one, usually I go work out, but I wasn't feeling partiicularly great last night, so I figured I wouldn't want to work out. By the way, have I mentioned my love for hazelnut vanilla coffee? You all know of my love for coffee, hazelnut vanilla was the coffe that got me hooked in teh first place. I have been ignoring my beloved hazelnut vanilla for some time now, I haven't had any classses in the building with the cafeteria, so I just get Tim Hortons and faair trade coffee. I noticed my coffee card the other day, had some extra time, so I went in and got my hazeknut, as I did today, and I had forgotten just how much I enjoy this type of coffee. Alright...enough ramble, my typing ahs gotten much better, not on this particular key board, but on my one at home (has a wrist rest and is just snazier than the ones at the computer lab.). I went to the library yesterday to find info on kingston penitentiary, there really isn't a hell of a lot. I'll have to try the online journals.oh, yeah...my corrections proff is from Saint John, I noticed she was wearing a UNBSJ sweater when I was talking to her. She still lives there, gets up at 5am, leaves for work around 6am and gets here at around 7am. That's crazy!! I have my communications midterm on monday, Karen and I are getting together after class today to study, I'm meeting Isabelle tomorrow to study for our society and ecology midterm. Then on Sunday I'll study a bit more for communications, my midterms and projects are nicely spaced this semester, one each week instead of one due every other day like last semester. I think he might do alittle bit of a review with us today. I just pushed some button and my whole post disappeared, luckily I recovered it. Anyway I'm going to bust downstairs to my class.....all of you who are reading my posts and not commenting suck!! You all suck....o.k maybe that was alittle harsh, but just comment!! just write"hi Krista" that's all I'm asking for.......comment!! :)

Sam didn't get Monday off. The best that Jim could do (apparently) was to give him all day Sunday off. When I first heard this I said"oh well, Ryan said he would cover for you", so I wasn't to upset, then Sam told me that Ryan had been fired. He does have the day off on Monday though, so we'll go out to a late lunch or something....just to celebrate on our actual anniversary. Since he has Sunday off we're going to so most of our celebrating that day, I don't know what he has planned, ;0) 5 years went by so fast, especially the last 2. I really love him. We went out to Sweetwaters last night with Joe, Ryan ,and some other guy I never got introduced to. Melissa, from the hilltop, has called me and told me they were all going out, but I never even seen her all night. Oh well, I was ladies night, so I didn't have to pay cover, just coat check. The security guys at the door were running scanning things over all the guys, I think to see if they were carrying weapons. Weird...whats the world coming to? Scanning people for weapons. I haven't been out in awhile, I don't know when they started doing that.Oh crap!! Sunday is tomorrow!Whoa! I gotta go get him something for our anniversary. I was at the mall with Karen and Tara yesterday and I checked at the game store to see if the game he had seen last week was still there, but no such luck. It would have been great, cause I knew he wanted it and it was only 15$. Hmmm......what will I get him? Anyway gotta go get him something....maybe I'll check Gamezilla... write later...Happy anniversary to Lisa and Anthony too!! :)

I just wrote my corrections midterm, I think I did alright, but the questions were really random. We were tested on 4 chapters in our text, and she picked the most random things to ask about. At least it was multiple choice, but I think I guessed alittle to often, "well it looks liike a d would go good there...maybe a c here...."Wasn't pretty. But I talked to a girl in my class afterwards and she said that she had to do the same thing. I am having a hell of a time trying to find a part time job that would be worth my time, but I either have to travel to far or only work 4 hour shifts, which is a pain in the ass. If I could get an 8hour and maybe a 10-12 hour shift, I would be fine. I would be able to make enough to cover some of my bills. Anyone know of any places that are hiring? I should have applied at blockbuster when they were hiring, my friend Alicia works there and already said that she would put in a good word for me if I applied, but now they aren't hiring. It's right next door to us, so it would be really convenient. I have my communications class next, I'm going to hand in my paper, it's only 4 pages. The syllabus says that it should be 5-7, but everyone that I've taked to hasn't been able to get over 4 pages. The topics are to narrow. Even though I hated working at the Hilltop, the shifts were good, 6 hour and then 12 1/2. It worked out nicely. I'm going to call Jody and see if he's had any time to figure something out for me, he said that I would be back to work in December, it's now February! I can't get a hold of him though. OH!! I forgot to tell you about my luck this morning! I arrived a school and thought that I had no money, I reached into my pocket.....and pulled out a 5$ bill that I had forgotten about, it went throught the wash, but was ok. I bought myself a coffee and still had money, it was fantastic....made my day a little brighter :) Anyway I think I'll go buy another coffee (with the extra $ i discovered) and head to class.... :0)

I have a midterm on Friday for my Corrections class, but I'm feeling pretty confident. It's 60% multiple choice and 40% short answer. I love multiple choice, you already have a 25% chance of being right, whereas in short answer, if you don't know it....you can't just guess. I'm also feeling confident because I've taken a criminal law ans charter class, an adult courts class, a historical reactions to crime class, and I am currently taking a young offenders class....so really this class is just a bunch of stuff that I already know, there is some new stuff, but I'm familiar with most of it, so it's easier to understand.I'm really gald that I scheduled my classes this way. My second semester classes are alot easier than first semester. My new CRIM proffs are really good. my soc classes are better too. I still don't like my theory class, but 1 out of 5 isn't to bad. I have an essay due Friday as well as a young offender online thing, but I think I'll be alright. Tonight is date night, my turn to pay, we are going to a movie. I'm not sure which one yet, but we'll figure it out. This Monday, Feb 13th, is Mine and Sams 5 year anniversary. I'm very excited!! He asked for it off, but if he's scheduled, Ryan said that he would switch a shift with him, so he can have it off. I wonder what he is going to plan...hmm....hopefully it involves chocolates....I didn't get any for Christmas and I would really like some (I've also hinted to him that I would like some), and our anniversary is the day before Valentines day, so there are lots of chocolates available. Anyway I gotta get to my communications class, write later....:)

Mom and richard came and got Gizmo at 9:30am.I was still in bed. Mom usually takes half the day to come up here. I guess she wanted Rich to drive, so they just came up after he was done work this morning. They only stayed about 20mins. I figured that mom and I would've hung out for a bit, we usually go to chapters/starbucks and hang out for the afternoon. I have an open afternoon now. Nothing to do. Sam works a spit today....he'll be home in about a half an hour. We can go get coffee. Mom and I went over to Pat's this morning so that she could say goodbye to Gizmo, but she was out. She'll be disappointed when i tell her that she already left. Pat really likes her. She knew she had to go but wouldn't let anyone pick up and snapped at Richard and I when we tried to pick her up. This was her longest visit yet...almost 5 weeks. I'll be happy when I graduate and get a steady job, by then Sam and I will figured out where we are going to live and everthing. I'm going to make sure it's a place that allows small dogs. I feel so guilty when she goes home, she really likes it here with me. She'll get used to being back with mom and Rich soon enopugh though. I have today off from school, it's chancellors day (which is a holiday that the school made up to give the proffs and students a break). So I have the whole day with not to much to do...although I really should vacuum.....hmmm...maybe.Sam took me out to the Hiltop Wednesday for dinner, we both had t-bone steaks. Mine was awesome, Timmy can really cook a good steak. Then yesterday was my turn to treat, so we went to see the movie nanny McPhee. It was a cute movie. Made me laugh. There wasn't much to pick from, since we go to the movies alot. Mom gave me my belated birthday presents this morning. She got me a nice birthday mug, some birthday desert plates and a nice braclet, I'm wearing it right now actually. :) I think I'll call Jackie later and see if she wants to go out. Anyway I'll write later....comment...oh BTW Lisa your probably right about the first underworld, Sam seen it and said that I should see it too.

Mom called me on Saturday and told me she was to sick to come up and get gizmo, so she's staying until Friday..that'lll be five weeks! I have a midterm on Tomorrow, I got together with a couple of women form my class on Sunday to work on the review questions, it was very helpful. Melissa called me this morning and told me that they were getting to gether again this afternoon. I'm going to go meet them in 10-15mins actually. I was just looking at the exam schedule, I only have 3 exams, but they are all going to be written in two days. I don't want to apply to write on hte rewrite day, cause I'll have to wait a week to do it. I'll see, maybe I will decide that I will, I write my modern soc theory and another one in the same day. That could be hectic. I think I'll go get soemthing to eat......anybody else have crazy exam schedules?

I just noticed that I haven't written in a week, so I figured that I should. Last night Sam and I ate out at Swiss chalet for supper and then went to see the movie "Underworld". I was pleased with both. I had chicken and ribs for diiner and the movie turned out alot better than I had expected. I hadn't seen the first one, but that didn't really matter, they explained it all in the beginning. School is going well. I have to make a pamphlet on the problems associated with nuclear power and have to write a research paper for my young offenders class. The pamphlet I don't think will be overly hard...but the research assignement is given to us on webCT. We see the question and then have 90 minutes to write it out. This is my first research assignment on this program, so I'm not exactly sure how to do it.Oh....Tuesday...at about 3pm I got a bladder infection. Then I had to wait until the medical clinic opened up at 6pm...I got there early, but there were tons of people there before me. I jumped right into line when the window opened and was in talking to the doctor after about half an hour. I figured I only needed 5mins of his time, I knew what I had and even brought the name of the prescription that I wanted. I got my prescription...he only gave me regular strength though, so I took and extra one before bed last night. I'm feeling much better today!! The upside is that my prescription was only $9 and change. Sam has today off too. I took yesterday off cause I wasn't feeling particularly great in the morning and I had a 9am class...so I went back to bed. I go to school every other day, I figure that I can have one sick day. Mom is coming up to Fredericton on Saturday to get Gizmo, Pat let her stay an extra week. That will make her visit the longest one yet...a whole month!! She's nice company when I'm here studying.Anyway I've got to go read some exciting modern sociological theory, blah.....it's a better text than last semester, for my classical theory, at least. Comment :)

my decision to work out today was a bust!! :) Sam and I went to the hilltop for the twisted tuesday bar night that they have and we drank and stayed out way to late. We got home about 2:15am and I had to get up at 8:15am this morning, I hit the snooze button and then ran around trying to get ready....I packed the wrong binder for today's classses, so I have nothing to refer to. Oh well. I got my ring out yesterday from the jewelry store, it was supposed to be sized, but it still feels to big. It's a honking big ring!!!.......and yes I did just write honking....cause that's th only way to describe it. It's really pretty....its got a honking big garnet stone in the shape of a heart in the middle and heart shaped diamonds on the sides. And on ttop of it being pretty....the garnet birthstone is red...just like hearts!! ;) And by the way I've been wathcing the elections debates and stuff, and none of the men running seem to be to enthusiastic about any of the plans they have for Canada. They all just bitch and complain...but there is no enthusiasm for the prospective job that they may be taking on. None of them seem at all exciting about possibly being chosent o help run our country!! none of them!! no wonder people aren't to enthusiastic to go vote...its because no one is being enthusiastic!!...grr.....stupid men.......unenthusiastic....if a woman ran.......enthusiasm galore.......Anyway there is somehting going on downstairs here at school about the potential leaders...I picked up a flyer outlining the liberals plans for education...they sound good....a 50/50 plan. That sounds good....but really I graduate next year.....would I even be eligible for the money??? It's money given in the first and fourth year.....but does that mean that it will be ready this september or september 2007?? I would like to benefit form that plan!! Probably not though...it'll probably take them 4 years to evene get it started.....Anyway I think I seen some tables down stairs that also had some cookies and things...so I'm going to go investigate the possible cookie situation...write later...

Classes went well this week. Its nice to be back into school and have a daily schedule. Lots of reading, but the texts are ok. My modern sociological theory text goes about making the theory points in a kind of confusing matter....I have to keep reminding myself what book I'm reading and what kind of point they are trying to make. I want to fall asleep while reading. My corrections text is interesting and I don't mind reading that though. My communications text is kind of common sense stuff, but easy enough to read. Its pretty snowy in Fredericton today and this evening. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow though, weird weather!! I have to call mom and let her know that gizmo will have to be picked up this weekend. I don't want to push my luck to much, that'll be alittle over three weeks. I'm glad that I didn't decide to drop that class with Machum. I have her every day, but I like the way that she teaches my society and ecology class. Modern social theory is still taught in her random manner though....with no writing on the board. I guess she doesn't write down her lectures word for word....just key points...it makes it hard when she tells the class something important and we have to ask her to repeat it seven times (b/c its a long paragraph) and it changes each time. I got up early this morning and went to the gym. I've decided to start working out monday, wednesday, and friday. I worked out last wed and fri..and now today. The gym wasn't as busy as I expected.....usually it's packed for the first couple of weeks of the new year...all those resolutions, but it wasn't to bad.Anyway I think I'll go do some more reading....blah...the never ending reading responsabilities....oh well at least they aren't to bad....write later....:)
