Pat said that Gizmo can stay in Fredericton with me all summer, so moving isn't as urgent as I thought it was going to be. I'll try to find a place for September. There might be a place downtown on a little off street that allows small pets, she said a small dog would be o.k. I have to call the woman again and ask when the apartment is going to be available. My friend Lisa from work also is going to ask her landlord about the other apartments available in her house (there are 4 or 5 apartments in total). Hers is huge and she had a huge dog. She said that the owners were pretty good about animals. But she pays $900 I think, so I don't know if we could even afford an apartment in that buiding. I have a huge assignment to do for my advanced research methods class. She gave us an 8 day extension, because she finally realized that no one in the class understands what to do. My friend Rose is in that class and she talks alot, I told her that I wasn't to sure about what to do. She then began to tell me what she thought we were supposed to do. Which didn't really make sense and she kept talking while I was trying (very obviously) to read about the assignment. So I got just about nothing done in that class and then had to go to my religion class and hand in an assignment and sit through another presentation, yawn!! I have to finish my portfolio for my developmental issues class. I only have 4 days of school left, woohoo!!! I am so sick and tired of doing research and writing essays, and sitting through ridiculously boring lectures. Sam is being great about me looking for a new apartment so that we can have Gizmo! We rather not move, but he is begin so great about it. He bought me the newspaper the other day, just to see if it had anything different than the online one. I looked online and it turns out that the Ol'Roy dog food that I buy Gizmo was one of the dog foods that got recalled for being contaminated with rat poisoning!! I have 4 or 5 boxes under the cupboard, but I'm just going to return them. I haven't had a chance to get to the grocery store to buy some pedigree(one that wasn't recalled), so she got a can of flaked chicken today, spoiled dog! Although a can of flaked chicken is cheaper than the dog food that I bought yesterday at the pet store next door. It cost me $2.27!! For a regular can of dog food!! Well gotta go get some lunch...

We went to look at the apartment yesterday. The house itself looked really nice, so I was pretty excited. Turns out that the basement had been chopped up into two ridiculously small apartments. The one that we looked at was supposed to be a 1 bedroom, but the girl has said that it could be made into a two bedroom. I figured it would be a pretty big place. The actual "bedroom" wasn't even a real bedroom. It was a curtain that had been hung across part of the kitchen and the girl had a double bed and nothing else and that barely fit. The other space that could be converted into a bedroom, was part of the small livingroom area that also was curtained off. The space wouldn't have even fit a single bed!!The kitchen was tiny and the appliances were very old. We left very disappointed. Pat said that we don't have to rush, but it still doesn't help me to find a place that will allow dogs and that isn't some crappy, tiny apartment. This is so frustrating!! AND then there is the job situation, there is nothing available in this city, or at least nothing that I've seen. I'm going to an information session on Wednesday, hopefully that will be some help, but the employment help at my school sucks. I went to the student employment office last year for some helpe looking for a job, thinking they might know something that I don't (being an empliyment office). The girl just brought up the government website that I had looked at for the past month. That was all the help she gave me!! Well...I'm going to go get dressed and work on an assignment....

O.k, I FINALLY found an apartment that would allow me to have Gizmo. I am, was, very excited. I emailed the guy asking him when he was going to come sign the sublet agreement. He wrote me back "sorry I got a job in Toronto, I won't be needing the apartment!" We are going to go see the apartment on Saturday anyway, cause it's right on Smythe, close to Priestman. It's in a basement apartment in a house and heat and lights are included. I told Pat and she said that she has a couple of people interested in the 1 bedroom, so she's going to help me in my search for a subletter, she said I couldn't pass up an apartment that would allow Gizmo. I've still got a month and alittle to find a subletter, so I think I'll be o.k. And I have Pat helping me now. I guessed the right password for my adsforum thing and so I posted the information and I emailed some people who are looking for a 1 bedroom. And really, I know from my own experience, 1 bedrooms are hard to come by in this city, so I think I'll be alright. Anyway I gotta get something to eat....

Turns out it's by an apartment basis and they don't allow dogs in the partcular apartment that is available. No apartments in this city allow dogs, no matter how little. I just keep hearing from landlords that it's really hard to find a place that will allow dogs, yeah I know!! I'm looking!! Stupid people, anyway I still have to search some more listings before class.....

The guy wrote me an email this morning and he and his girlfriend are going to take the apartment for May-August!! There are now 2 apartments down the street that are available, one specifically for May. Although I think I would prefer the one that is on the third floor. The guy, Tom is probably going to come over on Saturday or Sunday to sign the sublet and give me the money for the month of May. Then I'll call about the apartments down the street. Woohoo!! I've got to set up a time for the movers to come give me an estimate on how much it would be to move us. The guy said it was 85$ an hour and that included 2 movers and the truck, I don't think that is unreasonable. We'll just have to start packing. I'm so excited now. I'll be done school in less than 3 weeks and then I'll be graduating and done with school all together, which is very exciting. I skipped my Gerontology class this morning, it's snowing out alot and all we do in that class is copy notes for an hour and twenty minutes!! I'll just photocopy them from someone. Woohoo!!
Sunday, March 18, 2007
Woohoo, the guy actually called me 3:10pm and told me he was running late and would be here in about 20mins. He came, and saw the apartment, said it was definately one of the nicer ones he had seen and told me he would get back to me by Tuesday. He said he still had to talk it over with his girlfriend, but he liked the apartment. If he takes it I'd be able to call about the one down the street. He looked like a mature person, and asked if he would have to pay all 4 months up front! So I don't think I'll have anything to worry about. I told him that I had a couple other people coming to look at it on Tuesday, just to put alittle pressure on him to get back to me. I actually have no one coming, but he doesn't need to know that. hehe :)
I had a nice weekend. Gill and I finally got together Friday night and bought each other a couple of drinks for our belated Christmas present to each other. We went to Boston Pizza, the drinks were a really good size. Lots of places sell drinks and they end up being ridiculouslu small. This wasn't the case at BP, which was nice. Saturday I went to work. The day went by quickly. It was good. I then returned home and got some liquer ready and later on I took a cab to my friend Lisa's house. She had invited some people over, they were late, so we sat around drinking. When they did show up we all finished our drinks quickly and piled into someones car. We ended up going to Boom, it was packed. As was everywhere else, We didn't end up leaving Lisa's until 11:30pm or a little later, so bar options were limited. We all had a really good night though. Some of us left at about 2:30am and went to the Pita pit. I had only ever eatten there once before. They have some huge, awesome pita's, I got a philly steak one. We then headed back to Boom to pick up the others, some went with, I forget her name, but the one with the car, and some called taxi's. It was raining, so I decided to walk with Lisa back to her place (so that she wouldn't have to walk alone). We tried calling every cab in the phone book, repeatedly, but they were all busy. Finally, I seen a cab coming up her street and ran out and flagged him down. Thankfully he stopped and picked me up. I got home at about 3:30am. I hadn't brought my keys with me because Sam was staying in the apartment building and drinking with Luke, Tina, and Matt. Well I rang our bell and no one was home (except Gizmo, who was barking). So I was locked out!! It was to late to buzz any of the other apartments to get let it. Thankfully, some random guy came downstairs to go outside for a smoke and let me in. Woohoo! I came in and started getting ready and Sam came home shortly after. Turns out he had gone downtown as well, to the Tannery. He said that he had to wait a full hour for a cab. I was supposed to show the apartment to that guy today, he said he would call before he came at 3pm. Well it's 3:02pm and I still haven't heard from him. I don't think he's coming, which is disappointing, I can't post on the adsforum because I forgot my password and tried a bunch of different things that I use for passwords and I think it locked me out or something. I can't creat a new account with the same email address, so the adsforum is not an option for me. Well I'm gonna go work on some school junk, write later.....

Holy Cow!! I do not want to join the RCMP!! What a load of bullshit that would be. I went to the information session last night. The recruitment process is ridiculous!! You start by taking a test, o.k good enough, then you get a one on one interview maybe a month or so later after they reviewed your test. After that you have to take a polygraph test to really check your honesty on the test and during the interview. You might hear back later on. When you are accepted to go to "Depot" the RCMP training camp, you have to fly out to Regina, Saskatchewan. You have to stay there for 6 months of ridiculous mental and physical traing (6 months!). You get NO pay during the 6 month training and have to provide your own personal items (they said on average it costs $2000-$5000), thats shampoo, toothpaste, gym clothes, laundry soap, etc. AND after you've finished this 6 months of intense, unpaid training there is no guarantee that you will be accepted into the RCMP!! How fucking crazy is that?!! OH!! and you have to be able to move anywhere in the country at any time during your service, by on call all the time, and work shift work! One of the presenters had been with the RCMP for 15 years at right now, he was working 4 10hour night shifts, then 3 days off, 4 nights on, etc. What shitty hours!! There are some upcoming career fairs and other information sessions that I'm going to go to. Well gotta go make some lunch.

I got an email from a guy that he is really interested in subletting our apartment in May. He'll finish out our lease and then he can either stay or move out again. My username and password have been fucked up on the ads forum so I didn't know if I was going to be able to find someone to sublett. I went to the unb housing webpage and found a link to people that were looking for subletts and emailed a couple of people. He emailed me back pretty quick, so that's a good sign. There is an apartment down the street that allows cats for 20$ extra dollars a month, but I've been to one of the landlords apartment buidings and seen, with my own eyes, a little dog living there, so he must allow dogs to. They have been doing alot of renovations on the building too. I walk by it all the time on my way home from the bus stop after work. The best thing it that it is a month to month lease, no being trapped into living somewhere for a whole year. OH, mom told me to look into just getting a moveing company to come and move me, it would be cheaper to just hire someone to move us, than for Sams parents or my parents to drive all the way up to Freddy to move us. I emailed a company and they will do it for $85 an hour, and that includes two movers and the truck. I wouldn't think it would take much longer than that to move down the street, they even provide some packing materials if you need them. I had to go to this research and ideas fair today and go to 5 presentations and write a short paragraph about eahc one of them, I've been to about 2 1/2, well 3. So I have 2 more that I have to go to. Then it's home for lunch, write my religion essay, and I'm off to the information session for people interested in joining th RCMP. Well, I'm going to type up those 3 presentations that I've been to and do the other 2 later....:)

March Break is coming to an end, tonight is the last evening.....Then there is only 4 weeks of school left!!Woohoo!! I am so sick and tired of doing research all the time and writing papers, doing interviews, etc. I will be very happy to be done. Sam and I got up this morning and went to Mikes for breakfast. It was awesome. He got a breakfast pizza, hash browns and toast and I got has browns, two pieces of french toast, a piece of ham, ant we both had a couple coffees. It was only $15!! We are going to go there more often. I just got done printing my second interview. This one was 27 pages. I still have no idea how I did on the first one, because she didn't hand them back yet, which she was supposed to do a week before March break.Tomorrow we are doing a content analysis on some newspaper articles. I found them, I think, cause she never really told us what she wanted. Grr....stupid...dim...wittted...lazy...professor...grr.The second one she's not even going to mark, unless you don't do well on the first one and want her to, cause you think you might to better. She's going to take the best 1. Well I don't know if this one is any better because I did very similar questions. It would have been nice to see the first one and know where you could improve and then do the second one-which you could probably do better on. But we won't know until tomorrow, and by then we can't do anything to improve the interview, because it's already done!! hmph!! I'm going to a research fair on Wednesday, an assignment for my advanced reasearch class, whichc probably won't even get marked, cause she's so lazy. Then I'm going to the RCMP information session. I'm pretty excited about that. I think it would be really interesting to work for the RCMP, and the health benefits don't hurt either. I've got to go and ask my religion professor about what she is looking for in our research paper. Christian Right is very similar to Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians, which makes it really confusing when a person (me) is trying to do research on them. Sam is going to cook tonight, or at least that's what he said, he went and took a nap and I'm having a hard time getting him up to cook. He bought some fresh fetticine noodles and fresh cilantro and some really nice sauces. I think we will rent some movies tonight. Well I gotta go.....write later....oh BTW...I noticed no comments, not one on my last post....I figured I would get a plethora of comments...it was kinda cute, my chocolate statements....I'm hurt!! :) so there better be some comments to make up for it on this one!! :0)

I came to Saint John on Saturday, Mom and Richard picked Gizmo and I up in Freddy at about 5pm. Mom and Sam talked about Warcraft for awhile and then we went to Chapters/Starbucks for a caramel macchiato. They are such great foamy drinks. We got home at about 6:45pm, dropped Richard and Gizmo off at the house and went to pick Susan up, mom had suggested that we go and see the Chip and Dales strippers at the 3 mile. We picked her up and got out there at about 7:30-45pm. We ordered and got our meal at about 8pm (when the show started), we ate quickly and headed over. It was a different group called the Canadian International Strippers. They came out and strutted their stuff and took off some clothes (not enough clothes, cause they were wearing layers and it took awhile to get down to their boxer briefs). They did some choreographed dances and then did some individual dances, but stayed clothed alittle more than I would have thought any stripper should stay clothed. The night was good and we got some cheap drinks. I asked the owner, Mark, if they were really from Montreal (like the chip and dales), he told me that he was originally from Ontario but lived in Montreal now...he never ended up telling me anything about the other guys, come to think of it. Hmm... Mom hadn't been feeling that great, we stayed for alittle bit, but then took a cab to Sue's and got Darren to drive mom and I home. Sunday, mom was feeling worse and didnt want to do anything, so we stayed here. I was SO bored. Richard's satelitte in the livingroom wasn't working, he was watching the one in the room, and mom was playing Warcraft, so I had absolutely nothing to do. They don't have any movies either, so I just sat here all day. Finally at about 6:30pm we decided to go get something to eat and mom and I picked up the movie the Covenant. Sam had already seen it, so I never get a chance to rent it. Mom and I watched it, but it wasn't anything like we had expected. The characters were never developed and the story itself wasn't explained enough. I didn't really like it. Sam came home early from work on Saturday because he wasn't feeling well, they sent him home on Sunday, he doesn't work Mondays and supervisor found someone to take his shift for Tuesday. He has whatever mom has, achy, feverish, sore throat, etc. March break is going by way to fast. I'm going home tomorrow, I have a whole wack of stuff that I have to research and do some work on projects. The end of the year is coming so fast. I was finally able to register for the RCMP information session on March 14th/07. I was having some trouble and the student employment office couldn't have been more useless. I wrote them and email telling them I was having trouble and the only help that they gave me was to open it in internet explorer. What else would I open it in?! Stupid freaking.....anyway I got to register, and the first one changed my year to 1st year when I changed it from unb to stu check box. I didn't realize that and just registered again to fix it. It still fucked up and said that I was in my 4th year, but I go to unb. I figure that each of them have pieces of correct information and I'll be alright. I wouldn't want to ask the student employment office how to unregister and start over, they would probably just ignore me (like they've been ignoring my second email). Today I went to the Giant Tiger and picked up some really cute shirts. What does it mean by junior? The junior clothes didn' t look that much smaller than the regular ladies clothes, one of my tops is a 'junior' top apparently. After my time at the Giant Tiger I went to Susan's house for dinner. I brought a strawberry rhubarb pie, it was very nice to be invited to dinner. Sue gave me a pair of really nice brown dress pants. I have been searching for a pair for the last couple of months, but have been unable to find a suitable pair. My pant quest has now come to an end, thankfully! I also picked up some more chocolate bars while at the Giant Tiger, I'm such a sucker for a sale, but really, a .44cent chocolate bar (reeses and oh henry) can you pass it up?? NO!! you can't pass a deal like that up!! Or at least I can't and I am very happy believing that everyone else can't ( I want no comments telling me any different!!)-We are ALL suckers for cheap chocolate!! All of us!! :) Richard came and picked me up at about 7-7:30pm. Well I'm gonna go check out my new facebook page, see what's changed.

I just signed up for the facebook thing. I'm not to sure how it works, but I apparently invited a wack of people to add to my friends list or whatever. My advanced research methods class is cancelled for tomorrow, and I'm thinking that I probably won't be going to my sociology of religion class. Anyway if the snow ever starts, it hasn't yet, classes might be cancelled. So I might not have to worry about it. Jackie and I hung out tonight, we went to the Giant Tiger in Oromocto. We both ended up getting groceries. I bought a wack of reeses pieces butter cups, they were only .44cents!! I couldn't pass that up. I also picked Sam up some espresso dark chocolate bars. I never told him about the reeses. I'm just going to keep those my own little secret. He'll never even notice, he's so obsessed with his warcraft game! He doesn't even eat anymore, unless I cook for us. I came home from the Giant Tiger and he hadn't even cooked himself anything. I made some brocolli and cheese stuff chicken breasts and we slit a package of scalloped potatoes. It was quick and easy, especially since we have a new microwave. With this facebook thing, can anyone add you and see your information? hmmm.........well I'm going to go to bed, write later....

It is so frustrating trying to do research on religion!! I told my professor today that I was going to do my final research paper on Evangelical Christians. Well to my surprise, where I know very little about religion, the word Christian means everthing pretty well, roman catholic, right wing christians, protestant, salvation army, and many more that I stopped reading after awhile. I just wanted a simple religion to research, one that would have information that said "this religion believes this." That's it, but the religion is slightly different for each kind I guess, and Christian I might just leave alone and try something else. any suggestions? I also have a wack of other stuff to do over the March break...grr....stupid professors. I'm not doing anything else tonight though. My advanced research methods class is cancelled on Friday, but I still have that religion class. I was thinking of not going, but I think I need to ask her what she wants and how she wants us to do the research paper. It's supposed to snow alittle on Friday, so Mom might wait until Saturday to come get us (Gizmo and I). I am so thankful to be graduating soon. I'm sick and tired of writing research papers and doing presentations and going to class and taking notes....It'll be nice when it's all done. I'm really tired lately too, I don't know why, I go to bed at a decent hour (well by 1am usually), and I roll over and still hit my snooze button. Hmph!! OH!!! Hey Sue, did you want to go out with Mom and I Saturday to a movie? It would be great to see you while I'm in Saint John. Anyway I'm going to make a cup of tea and snuggle on the couch with Gizmo! Write later...

I went into work last night and I was put on 5 different campaigns by the end of the night, two of them I had no training in (well unless you count the 5mins last night). I was on LEC, NLQCB, and VOL!! I always sell LEC, NLQCB is similar, but alittle bit different script, VOL is verizon online and I had never sold it before. I was talking to Jamie and Greg and they were talking about renting a car and going home for March Break. I decided that it sounded good and booked some time off to come to Saint John. This way I get 2 Saturday's in a row off, this one and next! Sorry about the uninteresting content of my posts Sue. :) School is going well, it's alot of information though. OH!! Have you ever heard of "Tearoom" activity?? No?? Neither had I, well tearoom activity is men going to public restrooms (usually in public parks, off highways, etc) and getting blow jobs and sexual favours from other men. There are 4 kinds of men that do this. Trade-who are usually married, middle class men, some with kids, ambisexuals-higher paid men, some married, pay off police, gay-openly homosexual and don't care about being caught and the closet queens-fear stigma and are not very social. I have an online test Monday, which is not good for me. Even though we don't have to go to class (12:30-1:20), I have class from 1:30-2:20, a little break, another class from 3:30-4:50pm and one more from 7-9:50pm. This test will take approximately 2 hours to complete. We have from 12:30pm Monday until 12:30pm Tuesday. Tuesday I have class from 10-11:20am. I am going to be so busy I will hardly have time to write this test!!! AND then I have to study for my crim theory midterm (wednesday)!! I have no idea when I'm going to have time, I work Tuesday ....hphm!! But then I'll get a break, during which I have to research a religion for my soc of religion class. Jackie called me this afternoon and she invited me to accompany her to Waltmart. We hadn't seen each other in awhile, it was nice to hang out. :) There was a demonstration at Walmart of the Sharpest Knife ever. Jackie and I watched the demonstration. the woman cut through a tomato, bread, the stell head of a hammer, wood, and then sliced a tomato again to show that the hammer steel hadn't dulled the blade. If you bought one from her tonight you got two knives, a paring knife, scissors, two juicer things, and another knife for $28.95, Jackie and I went halfers and each got a couple things for $15. WellI'm going to go make something to eat....write later...:)

Hello All! I worked last night, and it turned out that there is no script at all for the new MTS campaign. AND my supervisor put me in the bundke campaign to sell tv and internet bundles together, my first night!! When I was trained a week before (briefly) they told me I would be selling TV services. Which is alot easier, because the people generally already have phone and internet services and can get a discount. A nice selling perk. With the bundle plan there are no perks. Luckily I sat down next to a woman about my age, and she seen had been selling MTS for a couple of months. She seen that I was ridiculously confused and asked her supervisor (Chris-met him during my training-he was nice) if I could buddy jack with her. So, I got to actually listen to her make calls for an hour. I also asked him if I could sell LEC for awhile, and he let me, so I got a break from MTS. I went back into it for the last half an hour, which wasn't bad. I'm not looking forward to work on Saturday, except we'll get $15 for showing up, which will be nice. Tonight I'm going to finish my CRIM theory II assignment. It shouldn't take long I already worked on it awhile. I'm gonna go make something to eat...:)

Tuesday, February 13th, was Sam and mine 6th anniversary. Holy cow, 6 years together!! It was great!! I had class in the morning, it was a review for our midterm today (which got postponed until Tuesday b/c the university is closed until 12pm b/c of the snow). I came home and got Sam out of bed. He took a shower and got dressed and I offered to treat us to a late breakfast. We went to Mikes, but they had finished serving breakfast by the time we had arrived, so we finished our coffee (which Sams boss gave us free for our anniversary) and went over to the Hilltop (they serve breakfast until 4pm). We came home and had some coffees and Kamora and just hung out for awhile, which was nice, cause we hardly ever just hang out anymore. Later on we took a cab to Swiss Chalet and Sam treated us to dinner. From there we went to the regent mall, we had won something from the red cross lottery (we bought tickets a long time ago). Turned out we had won a nice pair of binoculars. We were going to see a movie, but the line was really long when we got there, so we decided to go over to Chapters and look at the books and stop at Star Bucks. We both got caramel macchiatto's. I love those things. Then we went down to Walmart, so I could pick the dog up some food. We got home alittle after 8pm and decided to get a movie at Blockbuster. We got the movie "Man about Town", it was a comedy with Ben Affleck. We enjoyed that. Wednesday he had to work all day, but that's o.k cause we had already celebrated. He came home and surprised me with a funny card and a long stem red rose!! I hadn't expected anything, cause Valentines day isn't as important as the day before. I work tonight, but I'm on a brand new campaign. They switched me on last Thursday. I will now be selling cable, and internet to people in Canada. For the company MTS. My supervisor said she wanted to give me a shot at this campaign, b/c there are tons of incentives. On Saturday, if I go in and work my whole shift, I'll get an extra $15! For every sale that you make in the campaign, you make $5-$10. Then there are money prizes for top sales in the cable, internet, and combo divisions. I'll still call on LEC until 6pm. I buddy jacked with someone on Thursday. Canadians are alot more polite than people from the States. Although the guy said it was frustrating some times. In the states they just hang up on you, but in Canada they listen to your whole script, tell you they are not interested and hang up. I think I'll take the puppy out for a walk, it's not snowing or raining right now and the temperature is pretty good. Gotta go....write later....:)

I've been feeling a little bit better recently, yesterday and today. I'm still stuffed up alittle, but not half as bad as I was last week. I've been taking some flu medicine and it seems to be helping out alot. I have class later on this morning. It's a gerontology class, so we had an assignment to write about a day in our life at the age of 70 and all the things that would have contributed to that day. It was a difficult thing to do. I don't even know what I'm going to be doing next year, let alone when I'm 70!! It's done and I think I did what she wanted. I had something due yesterday on my religion class, and I have my interview due tomorrow. I work tonight, but I don't have to work this Saturday, so I have all weekend to work on stuff. I hope Sam works a long shift on Saturday so that I can actually use the computer. Although he is pretty good about letting me have it when it's for school. He gets up early in the morning to play it too. He stays up and plays it right until 1am and then is out here first thing in the morning!!Gizmo and teh bunny are getting along well enough. Gizmo is alittle jealous when I go over and pat the bunny, she whines and snorks!! She's such a funny little dog. Well I'm going to go get ready for class....:)

I wen to work yesterday and was feeling like crap, but I can't afford to take two shifts off, and I had planned to go in today to make up my hours for Tuesday's shift. For my advanced research methods class, we have to conduct an interview AND record it, so that we can transcribe the thing Verbatim. So I conducted my interview on Tuesday since that thing was cancelled. I got half way throught the transcription process on yesterday before work. This afternoon I sat down to finish it and for whatever ridiculous reason the thing had no volume and I couldn' hear anything. The tape was playing, but something happened to the volume. So I went and tried to record something new, on a new tape, and it would no longer record, I changed the batteries twice, and then I cried. I was so upset. I was half way done, only need the stupid recorder for one more interview, and then it's useless to me. I called Jackie to see if she had a little tape recorder that I could borrow, just to finish my transcription. She didn't, but offeredto walk to Walmart with me to see if we could get a new one for a decent price. We went over and the cheapest one was $40! It works awesome and the sound is great, but I'll never use it again after this second interview. What a huge waste of cash, although I might just return the thing after I'm done my second interview, Walmart will take anything back, I've got the receipt. I got done and my interview is 21 pages. I'm do stuffed up and congested. I also have to write two more papers tomorrow and Sunday, oh...no wait....more than that cause I've got stuff to do for my developmental issues class. I'm going to go make myself a cup of neo citron and snuggle with the puppy..Write later

Hello all!! So...I registered myself for an information session that the Public Service Commission was having at STU on Tuesday. I got up, went to my class in the morning, came home showered and fixed my hair and makeup and put on the new suit that I bought. I was very excited to find out about some of the possible job opportunities for upcoming graduates. I even took a cab over so that my hair wouldn't get wrecked. I got there early, so I went and double checked what room it was supposed to be in online. At 3:45pm I showed up and there was a sign, and the sign said that, due to illness the info session had been cancelled!! They didn't post it online, which would've helped me, cause I checked it a wack of times throughout the day. I was so pissed off!! Maybe I would like to work for the public service, they can be irresponsible and cancel things on a whim!! But I guess I won't know now!! grr.....stupid public service representative! And by the time I got out of there and got home, I had already missed my bus to work, and had called them and told them I couldn't come in, but would make my hours up on Friday. I figured going to this info thing would be well worth having to work Friday. I have a wack of stuff that I've gotta do too. We used to be able to read at work in between calls, but they cracked down on that and now we're not allowed. We don't have classes on Friday, because the university likes to make up holidays, Chancellors day. Yesterday I conducted an interview and I've gotta transcribe that on Friday before I work. Sam and I went out to lunch yesterday and bought a new microwave. It's a little smaller than our last one, but it has all the same buttons that we like (popcorn, baked potatoe, auto defrost, etc). It's gotten really cold in Fredericton the last week or two. I've been bundling up like crazy. I've been wearing long johns, a pair of thick cotton pants and then my regular jeans or pants. I went to class today and my professor asked how many of us had read an article that she had told us to, not many people raised their hand, when she asked how many hadn't about 3/4 of the class raised their hand. She punished us by making us write a 6 page essay about it for Monday. So I'm in the middle of that now, but wanted to take a break, so I thought I'd post. I got Sue's belated birthday card today! I was very excited to see that it had arrived, she told me awhile ago that she had bought one, didn't have my address, forgot to mail it, etc. So I got it today and she bought me a belated birthday card since she had forgotten for so many days. She had attached $20!! Thanks Sue!! That is totally gonna be my coffee money for this week. Well I better get back to my crim thing...... :(

Hello All!! I have been so unbelievably lazy this weekend (well, in reference to school work). Yesterday I cleaned like crazy and the apartment is looking nice again. I actually did get alittle bit of school work done (about 10 mins ago). I wrote my research guide for my interview. My advanced research methods class, is just a repeat of last term, except this time we are going to do 2 interviews. Half of the class took the first part of research methods with another proff and learned fuck all, so the people who had Professor Clarke last term (I did) just get a refresher in stuff we've already learned. This term we 're just reading a different book. Last term it was "dealing crack", which has a pretty seelf-explanatory title, and this term the book is called "tearoom trade". I haven't read it yet, but I'm pretty sure it's about homosexual acts in public settings. She has us read the most bizarre books. Oh well the dealing crack book was really interesting, maybe this one will be too. Sam gets off at 3pm, I'm gonna meet him, and we're going to go buy a new microwave. I was using the microwave the other day and it shot a bolt of electricity from one side to the other. I didn't know what was going on, so I unplugged it and put it in the garbage. I wasn't messing around with that, it sounded and looked like it was going to blow up. Gotta go make some lunch, write later :)
