hey, I just had my sociology test, it's worth 25% of our final grade!! This is a full year class. He gave us 10 essay questions on Monday to prepare for today. He picked 2 of the 5 in one section and and 2 of the 5 in the other. We were allowed a piece of paper with some notes on it as a memory aid. He didn't pick any of the ones that I thought he would and had worked hard on, he picked the 4 most unobvious ones for him. He's a Marxist, we all are made very aware of that ALL the time. I prepared th marx and liberal question very well, ya think he asked it, nope!! He's so strange. All he does in class is bad mouth the text book, the authors are liberals, and do half assed lectures, with little blurbs and impressions of star trek characters!! I probably got a B, but with him you never know, he's such a strange marker. But I'm not going to worry about it. I've decided not to come back to St Thomas next year. The only reason that I came here was for their bachelor of social work program, now that I don't want to be a social worker and it's super hard to get into the 3rd and 4th years, I think I'll take a year off or go to Community College in SJ. Cause I have completly lost my ambittion to study this crap. I have come to the realization that a BA is a complete waste of time, and I just keep thinking that every time I'm writing an essay or doing a test. I've already paid my tuition, so I'm going to finish out the year, and I'll still have 2 years of university on my resume, but this isn't what I want anymore. i only have a few more classes left until exams. I'll figure some stuff out over the xmas break. There are lots of things I can do. This is just a waste of money, I'll spend it better elsewhere. Anyway I only have one class left and then I'm going home and napping, I was up until 1am writing essays and doing more of those questions, and writing my the notes that we were allowed. AHH, I can't wait til my nap. Hopefully Elaine will be able to give me a lift home. She actually was driving by this morning while I was walking to school and stopped and drove me the rest of the way. She's a nice lady, she's in my social work class, my deviance class, and my literature class, 3 out of 4. I think I slept funny, ny shoulders are acheing pretty bad, I'll take an advil when I get home, before my glorious NAP!! Woohoo for naps!
