I'm pretty sure that my job at connect is not going to be to difficult. We listened in on a monitoring session and most of the time you don't even get to talk to the person you want. The training has sucked though. The trainer is nice, but gets really off topic ALOT. Yesterday we learned nothing, no wiat...we learned how to do a one bill, but only beacause I reminded the trainer that she said she would train us how. Unless you really probe for training, you don't get much. We paired up and did role playing, but she stuck me with the only guy in the class, who told me that he was only staying for the training and then leaving. So...the role playing was no use to me. She hadn't even gone through a full order with us yet, just the individual parts of one. I work the evening shift, so I won't be selling much of the packages (which is the only thing we've learned so far), I'll be selling Verizon online. It's a good deal and high speed is always better anyway. I don't think it will be to tough of a sell. I also make an additional $5 for every order that I place for VOL. I hope the bus schedule is better during the school year, I wouldn't want to take a cab home every night when I'm only working 3 nights and every second Saturday. I've been lucky so far. A girl in my class gets picked up and her boyfriend drives me and another girl home as well as his girlfriend. But, she'll be working days when we get on the phones, so I'll have to ask around to see if any one is driving around where I live. I always have Sunday's off, which is always nice. Sam and I went out to dinner last night, I had a lobster and seafood platter (mmm...) and he had a basket of clams and a poutine (he always gets a poutine when we go out). It's raining in Fredericton again. I hope it stops soon, we've had pretty crappy weather for 3-4 days straight now. I think we will have a boiled ham dinner tonight, he gets off at 4pm so we will still have time to go get some more potatoes. It's easy and tasty, which is one of the best combinations you can get when cooking. I'm going to bake some brownies....write later! :)

That's tough! It makes it hard to do your job when you don't get the training to do it properly.

It's been raining pretty much constantly since the start of the month here too. Oh well; its supposed to get nice on the weekend. Gotta love June in New Brunswick. :)

When are you coming home next? I still have your birthday present to give you. I've got to get it to you soon otherwise it will end up on my altar. :P
