I've just had two glorious days off in a row, I always have Sundays off but this week I also got Monday off for Rememberance Day. I had really underestimated how great two days off in a row can be! I think I'm going to put in some bids to have Saturday and Sunday's off, I know I probably won' t get it, but I can still try. Jackie, Sam and Alicia (from work) all joined me at the 20/20 club on Friday. It was a nice evening out, but it's way to much of a cougar bar (the cab driver even called it in as 4 people to Cougars) that we should go to a younger bar next time. The DJ was not the greatest either, it took a long time for any of our requests to get played. I invited Lisa to come with us on Nov 23/07 for Jackie's birthday festivities, I hope she can join us. I can't believe that Jackie will be moving back to NS in less than a month!! It makes me sad, but I know it's for the best. I'm gonna miss you Jackie! :0) Oh well I have a completely unlimited calling plan to anywhere in the maritimes, so we'll call each other lots! Oh yeah...back to the shift bid...if I get Saturday's and Sundays off + Christmas and boxing day, I only really have to worry about getting Christmas eve off (which is a Monday). That would work out even better and give me an actual vacation for Christmas. Maybe working a later shift for this bid would allow me to have a vacation. Sam has a whole week off for Christmas to go see his family, so it would be awful lonely if I couldn't get any time off other than christmas day and boxing day. I'll look into that more when I get to work tomorrow. Anyway...I'm going to go see what's on t.v :)

Gee, I don't look forward to christmas any year.... :(
Christmas is suppose to be about family, but somewhere down the road some of us have grown apart and not as close anymore.
But this year, Everything has changed!! Now I'm not so worried about the family and I'm just celebrating with the family that is closes to me... like you Kris!! That's what Christmas is all about...being with the ones you love!!
I'm cookin the turkey this year!! That will be something!!
Suppers not till 5pm!!
I'm happy to do it for a change!!
luv ya!
xoxo Sue!!
