I came to Saint John to visit for a little while before I start intersession. Mom came up and visited on Thursday, and spent the night. Sam made a really nice dinner on Thursday for us. On Friday we went to the mall for awhile and I actually found some nice stuff. Suzy Sheir were having some crazy promotion, so I got 20% off of all my purchases and a free prestige card. I finally used the gift certificate that Sam gave me for my Birthday and bought a beige color jacket that I'm quite fond of. I got some new tops and a couple fun skirts. We left Fredericton around 4pm and home at about 5:30pm on Friday. Mom and Richard went to some hockey banquet and i went over to Sue's house for fajitas, pina coladas, and wine. Sue had invited her friend Kathie as well. We all had a really nice time drinking and playing games. We played the dice game ten thousand a few times. We sat up and watched T.V for a bit and then went to bed. Sue will laugh when she reads this, but she has a really comfortable bed. It's got a nice cushiiony top, its wonderful!! :) Sue and I made pancakes and sausages this morning for breakfast. I had been craving pancakes for the last week, but Sam wouldn't make them for me and I was to lazy until today. :) Sam is supposed to be coming down tomorrow, if he can get off early enough to catch the 5:50pm bus. If not he can catch the 6:30am bus on Tuesday. It will be nice too see him. He's going to stay with his family until Tuesday night and on Wednesday mom is going to drive us back up to Freddy. Sam starts work at mikes at 8am on Thusday. The stupid student health centre stopped booking appointments and now it is just a walk in service. I've got to go do that at 9am on Thursday, which I'm not looking forward to. I start intersession next Monday, I'm still not sure when that payment is due. Come to think of it, I have to call the registrars office, I got a letter on Friday saying that I had gotten a millenium bursary for a couple hundred and that it would be on my january 2006 account. I'm not to sure how that works, january has passed and my account has been paid up for awhile. HMM......;) maybe I'll go and check that out on Thursday, since I'm already on campus. Lisa and Anthony came over tonight for supper. It was nice seeing them, I usually don't get a chance to, they are so busy and my visits are quite sporatic, makes it hard to plan anything. They both are looking good and excercising. They actually left as we were pulling into the driveway to go play tennis (and returned for supper later). Anthony was wearing the pants I got him for x-mas, it is always nice to see that a present you give is being used and not just sitting in a drawer or in a closet.:) I think I need to get contacts or something soon. I've been finding things just a touch more blurry than they used to be lately. I went and got fitted for a pair so I could get enhancer contacts one summer, I still have a pair in the package, but they are hard to get in. I think I'll practice with those ones before I order new ones. I'm going to call Jody on Wednesday when I get back, it's been two weeks and I should be back to work this week. It should be ready!! I've waited long enough!! I'm going to do that while I'm taking my class in May and then get a Full time job as well in June. I can make my own hours with the gleaner job, so I'm hoing I have decent hours at the other job, hopefully my days off will be on Wed, Thurs, Fri, or Sat 9when I'm supposed to do the gleaner. I can work more hours on those days and less on the days that I'm doing both. I'm hoping I can save money for my tuition and pay my monthly bills. The Delta call centre is right next door to my apartment, I'm hoping I can get on there, but I never see any ads. I think I'll just drop a resume off mid May and see what happens. I would rather do something related to my degree, but there isn't much for students of soc and crim, not until you graduate. Which, I must say is kinda dumb, wouldn't they want people to have some experience working with young offenders or the social services than graduates, who because they weren't graduates, didn't have the chance to work in the sector at all before they graduated? Anyway, I'm not to sure how that works. There are opportunites in the fourth year, I think you apply in October for 2 year term jobs (that start in May). I'm going to apply for as many of them as a I can. I'm hoping that I can get one in Fredericton. Sam and I like living there. I'm not to sure when our final grades come out, if anyone knows (Jackie) let me know too. I think I'm going to see what is on T.V, write later....
